Projects
We're presently working on projects related to Science and Research and Community Engagement. Get an inside look at the work we do, the challenges we face, and the impact we're striving to create.
From studying the relationship between freshwater springs and local flora, to revitalizing Kinnaur's traditional grasslands and promoting sustainable agriculture, we aim to protect vital resources and empower local communities. Our initiatives also include long-term ecological research and the creation of a seed library to preserve native crops and agricultural heritage.
Through our community-focused projects, we aim to preserve and promote local biodiversity, cultural traditions, and sustainable practices. Project Tenfa documents traditional knowledge of food and medicinal plants in Kinnaur, while The Green Hour fosters an appreciation for biodiversity among schoolchildren. Pehli Class raises awareness on key environmental issues, and #SpeciesSunday engages the public by sharing valuable insights on native plant species.
